Hi, I’m your trusted and local Optical Dispenser Josh! 

I’ve opened my eyewear studio - Spex in the City Optical Dispensary in Inglewood (just 10 minutes from the Perth CBD) as a space for people to come and try on Eyewear and discuss their visual requirements. I believe that it’s a process that should never be rushed, especially for those with complex vision needs. 

I was drawn to Optical Dispensing because it offered the perfect blend of making a real impact on people’s lives whilst tapping into my creative side. With a passion for providing exceptional care, I have spent over a decade honing my skills in the Corporate and Independent Optical industry.

I love attending workshops (such as frame making and repair workshops) and other continuous development courses to ensure I stay ahead of the curve in Frame and Lens technology.

I am a Cert IV qualified Optical Dispenser, a proud member of Optical Dispensers Australia (ODA), International Opticians Association (IOA) and the recipient of the prestigious ODA National Medal of Optical Dispensing Excellence in 2024.

When I’m not helping patients see the world more clearly, I enjoy spending time with my dog; Esjay, exploring Perth’s top dining spots, and occasionally letting loose with some karaoke.
